At Soapbox, our passionate attitude towards printing makes every job interesting. However, when we were asked about doing a job for the new Christmas zombie musical Anna and the Apocalypse, we knew that passing this opportunity up would be a grave mistake!
At the recent premiere for the film at the Everyman Cinema in Princes Square, we became aware that Blazing Griffin had big plans for making the venue just as creative and wild as the film itself, and we were dying to get involved.
The venue looked fantastic with zombies in shop windows and blood-spattered candy canes. We were excited to play a part, but we knew we would have to rack our brrraaaaiiins and flesh some ideas out to provide some quality printing suitable for the event.
In the end, we produced some posters, bookmarks and other handouts, as well as a spooky cus-tomb-ised fabric standing banner.
It was a genuine pleasure to get involved, and we are glad to have played a part by bringing Blazing Griffin’s fantastic artwork to life in order to convert the classy venue into a suitably ghoulish setting.
We encourage everyone to make a change from the usual wholesome Hollywood family Christmas comedy this year and see Anna and the Apocalypse instead – you won’t be disappointed!
